LOVE THOSE LASHES was founded in 2007 by entrepreneur and mother of 2 Debra Sloane. Starting out with her first stand alone salon in Balwyn (Melbourne) in April 2008 Debra’s sole focus was to offer women professional eyelash extensions in a spa-like environment. “It’s about treating our clients to an indulgent experience, while at the same time giving them a wonderful makeover,” Sloane says.

From the salon’s humble beginnings, Sloane recognised a growing need to develop a stand-alone lash salon that would employ trained and highly qualified technicians. “I felt people would trust an expert and prefer to have their lashes applied at a specialised salon. Our technicians are extensively trained in application, hygiene and maintenance of lashes,” Sloane says.

High consumer demand saw LOVE THOSE LASHES quick expansion into NSW with Debra now running 5 stores in total, experiencing a total growth of 162% over 2 years. The locations include Paddington in Sydney and Kew, South Yarra and Greensbrough in Victoria.

LOVE THOSE LASHES currently have over 150 different types of lashes on offer from acrylic to silk all varying in length, thickness and curl. The newest addition to the range is the 100% pure Siberian mink eyelash extensions which have recently launched onto the market.

In sourcing the new Siberian Mink range, Debra visited Korea to investigate the latest applications, manufacturing techniques and new styles in mink eyelashes. Debra sourced the best mink fur available – 100% pure Siberian mink which is incredibly soft and has an outstanding lustrous sheen that provides a distinctive yet natural glamour.

Debra’s goal for LOVE THOSE LASHES is to continue to build a loyal client base, maintain a positive reputation in the beauty industry, and make the business attractive to potential investors. “I predict that in 20 years from now, LOVE THOSE LASHES will be a family operated business; a business I can hand down to my children,” Sloane states.
